You can donate with a one-time gift, or set up a recurring gift to the ministry of your choice.

Giving Opportunities

Gifts of Cash

The most convenient form of giving, cash gifts may be made in the form of currency, checks or by a credit card. Cash gifts are deductible for donors as allowed by law. Make a gift at ap.church/give.

Corporate Matching Gifts

Corporate matching gifts are a type of philanthropy in which companies financially match donations that their employees make to nonprofit organizations.

When an employee makes a donation, they’ll request the matching gift from their employer, who then makes their own donation.  Some companies have a policy against contributing to religious organizations, but will match donations made to institutions affiliated with houses of worship that provide a service to community members regardless of religious beliefs, such as St. Anthony’s Bread (the food pantry of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church). St. Anthony’s Bread is the 2nd largest distributor of food in Montgomery County, Texas.

Please check with your employer to see if a Matching Gift can be made to either St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church or to St. Anthony’s Bread. Our EIN is 76-0545136.

Securities

Direct gifts of securities, especially appreciated stocks, can offer substantial tax savings. By giving appreciated stock, you may give a larger gift at less cost.

Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from IRA

When you make a gift to St. Anthony’s as a QCD from your individual retirement account (IRA) or Roth IRA, you do not recognize the transfer as income. Funds gifted from your IRA will NOT subject your Social Security income to higher tax levels and will count toward your annual required minimum distribution (RMD). If you are 73 or older, you can make a gift in 2024 from your IRA up to $105,000 per IRA owner or beneficiary. Contact your tax advisor to determine if this is appropriate for your situation.

Other Ways To Give

Planned Giving

Leaving your legacy at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church will benefit our Mission and carry the church well into the next 25 years and beyond! By including St. Anthony’s as part of your long term financial and/or estate planning, a planned gift will ensure that St. Anthony’s will continue to thrive and serve as a beacon of faith to our community for years to come.

Second Collections

Our Second Collections at St. Anthony support a variety of missions and ministries that are instrumental to the strength of our parish, archdiocese and universal church. These collections help important causes such as the Diocesan Services Fund, the Campaign for Human Development, the Bishop’s Fund for Latin America, and more!

Give To Ministries

Our parish is blessed with a wide variety of outreach and support ministries that serve those in need around our community. Whether it’s helping put food on the table through our St. Anthony’s Bread Food Pantry, keeping the lights on through the St. Vincent de Paul Society, or spreading the Gospel in Honduras, these ministries are well-deserving of our support!

Memorials

Honor the memory of your loved ones with a lasting tribute at our parish. At St. Anthony of Padua, we offer a meaningful way to remember those who have touched our lives. Your memorial donations help support our faith community, ensuring the continuation of our sacred mission. Your generosity keeps the spirit of your loved ones alive.

God has no need of your money, but the poor have. You give it to the poor, and God receives it.
