Q: What is ChurchCenter?

A: ChurchCenter is the name we have given to the online tool ap.churchcenter.com, which is a public-facing website that allows the parishioner to access their information stored in our web-based Church Management System for the purpose of joining or participating in a group or ministry, and also for processing event registrations.

Q: What is Planning Center?

A: Planning Center is a web-based program for the church designed to streamline communication, administration, registration and giving so that church staff can spend more time doing ministry and less time doing administration.

Q: What do you mean by web-based?

A: Both ChurchCenter and Planning Center programs are accessed via the internet and not stored on a local computer server housed on the church campus.

Q: Why do I have to give my birthdate when I register?

A: It helps us identify that it’s really you, prevents the creation of a duplicate record and helps us comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Act.

Q: I don’t have an e-mail address, can I still register for an account?

A: Not at this time.

Q: Can I call the office and have you create an account for me?

A: Internet Privacy Rules do not allow us to register for you. Your log-in is secured through two-factor authorization and is sent to your mobile device through a text message code or to an email address through a verification message and link. If you don’t have access to a computer or cell phone with text service and need assistance, you can come to the office and one of our admin staff can assist your situation.

Q: I need to edit my child's Name or need to edit my child's Date of Birth. How do I do that?

A: Visit ap.churchcenter.com and from the main menu select UPDATE MY HOUSEHOLD.  Your entire household will appear once you log on and you may edit information or add new members to your household. You may not edit names once the person has been created.  Need to edit a first or last name? Send your request to support@ap.church.

Q: I have followed the instructions and I can’t log in, who do I contact?

A: Send an email describing your issue to support@ap.church. Please include your name and phone number and a brief description of the problem you are experiencing.

Q: I am a parishioner and I created an account on ChurchCenter, but I can’t see my giving history.

A:  Records of contributions are found in our payment portal, PushPay.  You may manage your account and view past gifts at pushpay.com/login.

Q: Can anyone view my information if I register for an event or group?

A: Personal information submitted to this parish website (ap.church) or to an event registration or group membership on ChurchCenter (ap.churchcenter.com) is visible to the staff of St. Anthony of Padua.

 

Member’s name and email address is visible in ChurchCenter to Leaders of groups they lead. Member’s name is visible in ChurchCenter to other Members of the groups they participate in.

 

When registering for an event on ChurchCenter, an attendee’s name, email address and phone number is visible to Event Managers.  Event Managers are most often the staff of St. Anthony of Padua but may also include individual ministry leaders.
